Pakistan welcomes adventurers, trekkers, climbers, and tourists from across the globe. Whether you’re joining us for a mountaineering expedition or simply exploring as a traveler, the Pakistan Online Visa System makes it possible for citizens of 191 countries to apply online.

📌 Citizens of:

  • 50 countries can apply under the Tourist Visa (Visa in Your Inbox) category.
  • 95 countries can apply under the Business Visa (Visa in Your Inbox) category.

⚠️ Issuance of a visa is solely the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan. Always plan your travel only after receiving a valid Visa Grant Notice.

Visa Categories

Mountaineering & Trekking Visa

  • Single Entry Visa for expeditions and treks.

  • Apply under:

  • Valid for up to 3 months.

  • Processing time: 6–8 weeks (can restart if sent back for review).

Tourist Visa

  • Available to citizens of 191 countries.

  • Some countries are eligible for Visa in Your Inbox (granted faster).

  • Ideal for cultural trips, sightseeing, and general tourism.

Business Visa

  • Available to nationals from 95 countries.

  • Requires supporting documents from the inviting company in Pakistan.

Required Documents

For Mountaineering / Trekking Visa:

  1. Passport copy (JPEG)

  2. Passport-size photo (JPEG, white background)

  3. Mountaineering application form (PDF)

  4. Sponsor letter/agreement with DTS-authorized tour operator + company docs & ID (PDF combined)

  5. List of team members (PDF, if available)

For Tourist / Business Visa:

  1. Complete set of supporting documents

    • (Tourist: invitation letter from tour operator e.g., Apricot Tours)

    • (Business: company invitation letter)

  2. Passport-size photo (as per Nadra’s photo tutorial)

  3. Valid Credit/Debit Card for online payment

How to Apply (3 Easy Steps)

Step 1: Preliminary Assessment

  • Choose your visa category.

  • Review eligibility and required documents.

Step 2: Preparation

Please ensure that you are applying for the right visa as each visa has its own set of required documents. You must have the following on-hand before you begin your application:

  • Complete set of supporting documents.
  • Photograph up to 350KB captured as explained in the Photograph Tutorial.
  • Valid Credit Card/Debit Card for online payment of your application fee.

Step 3: Online Application

  •  Click Apply Now to launch Nadra’s Official Pakistan Online Visa System.

  • Create a new account / log in.

  • Complete the application form.

  • Pay fee online via Credit/Debit Card.

  • Submit your application.

How long it takes to get your visa approved

Processing Time

  • Tourist & Business Visa: Typically 2–6 weeks (varies by nationality).

  • Mountaineering & Trekking Visa: Usually 6–8 weeks.

  • Applications sent back for review restart the processing timeline.

  • Applications not resubmitted within 7 days of review will be canceled.
